The warning dates from last week's newsletter sure packed a punch. When I wrote to watch out for those dates, I had no idea that India and Thailand were going to go through so much pain and heartache.

This week brings in a lot of action, thoughts, and also some peace and quiet. December has arrived and a new year is on the way. Soon it will be 2009, which in numerology is the number eleven. This number can bring tough lessons, but usually these situations have really good spiritual results.

Remember to think and watch for all signs during your decision-making process, as there are always at least two sides to every issue, and it is our own perceptions that cause us to choose the one we deem correct for ourselves.

This is a week in which the energies cause us to view all sides of every issue and situation that we are drawn into. Knowing the various sides of anything allows us to use the information, and make better choices in our lives. Even when you think you know all you need to know, take a moment to try and see the other side; you may find that you are not as positive as you thought. If you need to, flip a coin and watch how it falls.

Seeing all sides to a situation allows us to be wiser and more compassionate within our lives. It brings wholeness into our realities, and allows us to be kinder not only to ourselves but others as well.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday will bring in a lot of new energy to clean and organize for the next month and year to kick in. Try and get all your lessons done so that 2009 does not hit you so hard.

The numerology for December is a Master number that brings our intuition closer to us. Quite often, this knowledge comes in through our dreams, but sometimes it can be a little scary to know this much at once. Our own inner knowing will continue to drive us through December and into the ELEVEN year of 2009.

This December is a #4 month (12/2008). It is also the month that makes all us a little crazy with year-end stress at jobs, office parties, and family gatherings that aren't always pleasant. For many of us, this can be time of nonstop worry, which means this is the most needed month for deep meditation and long baths. Burn your fragrant incense and candles, bake a pie or cookies, and make your home smell real homey. Comfort is what is called for during December, so at the end of a hard day, take a lovely warm bath, wrap up in your favorite blanket, have some egg nog or hot chocolate, and relax.

Because we are starting a brand new nine-year numerology cycle in 2009, this is a great month for new beginnings and/or traditions. Remember we can always start something new with each holiday or new family addition, and now is a perfect time to do that.

This month has many planets lined up in Capricorn, which is a busy connection with new beginnings. Of course there are brand new political parties in place, and many businesses have fallen, but some are being rebuilt as you read this. Our world has been in trouble lately, but the energy is shifting to the positive now, and people are rushing to make all the wrongs right. Many new doors will open for the next 9 years.

I would say that 80% of us have been feeling all of these things, and it is about to change. We will get our energy back if we learn how to nurture ourselves with peaceful times at home.

We are all about to feel more solid as this month rolls on. The usual family fight may break out, but this month calmness is the best way to handle this. Once we learn how to truly care for ourselves and others, then the actions will take place that we have all been craving like new jobs, moving to a new place, a new partner, etc.
