Truly this is going to be a pretty nice week, with no big surprises for a change. The Universe is calm, and we can all say "It's about time!" It is about time to go ahead and write down all those plans for your future, and ask yourselves the important questions like: what do I really want my life to be? What do I need to fulfill my own destiny? How can I change my life to make it more simple yet fulfilling?

I keep psychically seeing this vision of The Walton’s television show. Those were hard yet simple days, where everyone helped each other, and the little things meant a lot to each of them. Families lived together, and the kids were not expected to move out of their childhood home at the age of 18; they just became a contributing adult member of the household.

During this time we all need to help each other, so if you are deciding whether or not you should make your adult kids move out, another option may be to let them stay home and help out with the bills. This is not an easy or inexpensive world to live in nowadays. My first apartment in Seattle rented for $90 a month, but now it rents for $1400 a month!

There is work to be done on the self during this week, while also thinking of others. Often during this time of year, we are so focused on taking care of others that we forget about ourselves. Take time to do some internal work: breathe, relax, and maybe even meditate a bit. We are of no use to others if we don’t take care of ourselves first.

The body and spirit could use a bit of nurturing this week. Take an hour to read a good book or listen to the music of nature. Whatever gives you that inner pleasure, take the time to do it. Foxy says "Or, you could walk your dog."

By taking time for yourselves, you will not only greatly enrich the quality of your own reality, but also the realities of those you share it with. Even your work does not need to be laborious; it can be very pleasurable. Be creative at your work, and you will find that it greatly enhances you in more ways than you may expect.

This week should be about inner reflection of your life, how you affect other people’s lives, and how you can live simpler and happier. Listen, think, and also sit back and watch your loved ones.
